Three Reasons to Make Your Meeting Blackberry-Free

- People pay attention.
- It communicates that their job for that period of time is to connect with each other. Period.
- People’s mindsets shift away from “business as usual” and they're better prepared to think creatively.
This can go for meetings but also for other events - dinner parties for example. Unless you have friends who are doctors, they can take an hour off the crackberry.

I like to use my smart phone and laptop in meetings so I don't get board. I come and go in meeting participation based on my level of interest.
Second, I do research on the topic.
Third, I do things in the moment instead of creating another list of to do items.
It's the speakers role to be engageing enogh to earn my attention.
