Hi Folks, just like Keith, I'm taking RMA along with the pilot class. And so, I had to write a vision statement for the first time in a while. Guess why it had been a while? It's not easy! Thinking through Serious Questions Concerning the Rapidly Arriving Future in a thorough way takes patience and fortitude - but I highly recommend everyone do it.
Now, onto this week's links...
- 10 Tips for Making Great Email introductions: This is great stuff. Chris, can we use it in RMA? Hat tip to Meghna for the link.
- Pirate Management: No really, it's a good thing! Fun Psych Today post about The Invisible Hook, a new book about "what today's managers can learn from the scurvy dogs of yore." Thanks to Sara Santos for the link.
- The Social Capital Scramble: Economics once again hastens a societal shift already underway: Welcome to the Relationship Economy. Thanks Tanja for the link.
Notice: Every single link today was sent to me by someone else. Let's use this as a model, people, so that I can hit Friday happy hours with greater regularity. (Is that my new vision statement?)
Send a trackback!
As usual, fantastic and timely advice.
What is your new vision statement?
I'm going to dodge that one - not ready to go public in an archived, permanent forum. I'll keep it on the private RMA forums for now, and at HH. :-)
