Never Eating breakfast Alone

Posted on March 31st, 2005 by Keith Ferrazzi

I just had the best breakfast in a long time. It was with my new friend Bob. I met him and his fiancée the other night at a dinner party in Beverly Hills had such amazing insight that it seemed I was watching my book come alive in his actions. He totally got it. Then he said the magic words, “You know, I’d really like to run for Senate some day.” That sure got my head spinning! I had a total Networking Action Plan in place by the time we met this
AM, 4 days later. This guy has a real shot. And so do you. No matter what your dreams are, you'll have a real shot at them if you surround yourself with the people who can help make you successful. Remember: build it before you need it! Start today!

One Response so far | Have Your Say!

  1. Keith, I'm reading your book right now, at breakfast -- yes, that is the time I set aside to learn things I can share with others. Often, I write summaries or digests of what I'm reading to share with the people in my network who might find them of interest.

Your story is remarkably similar to mine. Having reinvented myself in another country and language -- I was made in Italy -- I can appreciate the full meaning of rolling up one's sleeves.

I am absolutely dovoted to helping other people succeed. That's why, in my spare time, I develop and lead Fast Company magazine readers' network in Philadelphia. I am also passionate about communications and making things happen.

Thank you for your many contributions to relationship building and for the urgency in which you communicate it.
