Five Tips for Great Stories

Thanks to Peter Guber's focus on the role of storytelling in effective business leadership, I'm now paying attention to storytelling references everywhere.

Today Marci Alboher's got a piece that lists top 5 storytelling tips, courtesy of the Talkingstick storytellers. To her list, I'll add one, a kind of 4b in conjunction with "don't alienate your audience;": know your audience and care about them.

  1. Keith I just wanted to thank you for your inspiration. I read something of yours on monster and it produced some positive inspiration for me. I haven't got a hold of your book yet but I imagine it is also good. I guess I'll let you know later what I think of it. Any way thank you for putting yourself out there. I appreciate it greatly!
